Case Study One: Clarke –
windows, doors, roofline and fitted wardrobes
Brief: To fit new upvc light oak windows to the entire farmhouse including French doors and front door.
Also include fitting of solid wood wardrobes to master bedroom.
This large farmhouse took just over a week to complete the fitting of 20 light oak Upvc windows along with three external doors including double front door with apex porch, 2 sets of French doors and stable door to rear. New guttering, fascias soil pipes and cladding were also installed to the farmhouse.
The fitted wardrobes were installed by our master joiner, Mark Haworth to create a contemporary feel to this stunning building.
Case Study Two: Brown –
1st floor extension, replacement flooring, new bathroom and utility room
Brief: To create new bedroom and ensuite bathroom, refurbish existing family bathroom and partially convert garage to include study and utility room.
An extension was built above the existing garage to house a new bedroom and en-suite including double sink unit, separate shower cubilcle, freestanding bath and solid wood glazed internal door. The existing bathroom was refurbished and a new suite including shower-bath.
Tiled flooring was laid in the new kitchen fitted by the manufacturer and the garage was partially converted to house a spacious utility room and study with glass block wall to provide natural light through the existing conservatory.
All works were completed within the 12 week schedule to a very high specification.
Case Study Three: Chambers –
Two storey extension/bathroom/en suite
Brief: To create a two storey extension involving removal of existing conservatory and relocation of bedrooms with an additional en suite to master bedroom.
The completion of this project from start to finish took 12 weeks with minimum disruption to the family. There was a possibility that upon digging the foundations, pilling may have been required. This was indeed the case and a specialist company was brought in to complete the works.
The rear of the house was opened up to create a light and airy kitchen/dining/living space with the introduction of bi-folding doors. A new oak kitchen was fitted along with the utility room with new wooden flooring throughout.
Upstairs, the existing bathroom was moved into the 4th bedroom to make way for a new master suite with en suite shower room enabling the house to become a four double-bedroomed home.
